Danny Bond headed in the equalizer in the 85th minute as Salve Regina University men's soccer salvaged a 1-1 draw with visiting Coast Guard Academy in NEWMAC action at Toppa Field on Wednesday evening. The Seahawks and the Bears met for the 12th time in men's soccer and tonight was the second-straight draw. Jude Sargent headed in Coast Guard's goal in the 30th minute on a feed from Aidan Miles.
Hunter Schultz assisted on Bond's goal.
Adonis Santiago had five saves for Salve Regina while John Putnam made three stops for Coast Guard.
