- Once again, the third set was competitive, but Connecticut took advantage of several later errors for a 25-18 final and a 3-0 victory.
QUOTING COACH NOORDZY:
"After a tough weekend, we were able to find some immediate upgrades in our game and we were able to implement them against Connecticut College. We have a talented team, and the girls and coaching staff is working hard to figure out the pieces. If this trend of growth continues, I think we'll be very prepped for conference play. We have a tough test at Wesleyan on Friday and we'll be looking to continue to push the needle in the right direction."
ON THE HORIZON:
On Friday, September 6, at 7 p.m. women's volleyball will travel to Middletown, Connecticut to face another NESCAC institution, Wesleyan University.
