: Salve Regina 6, Albertus Magnus 5
Records: Salve Regina (9-6-3, 7-6-0 NEHC), Albertus Magnus (9-6-1, 6-4-1 NEHC)
History: This is the second meeting between the Seahawks and the Falcons in men's ice hockey since Albertus added a varsity men's ice hockey program in 2019. Last year the Falcons beat the Seahawks 2-1 at their home rink in New Haven, Connecticut. Damon Zimmer was the sole Seahawk to score.

NOTEWORTHY:
  • The Seahawks and Falcons kept the score close early on after Walter Baumann struck first but the Falcons matched his efforts with a score of 1-1 after the first period.
  • It wasn't until ten minutes into the second period when Cade Destefani and Matthew Brunton extended the Seahawks lead 4-2.
  • Five minutes into the last period Salve Regina led 5-3 but two goals from the Falcons, the second with a power play and extra skater six on four situation, tied it up at 5-5 with just 58 seconds remaining in regulation.
  • Hoon Kim's slap shot over the shoulder of Falcons Chace Hale was the determining factor in Salve Regina's 6-5 overtime win.
  • Salve forced Hale to make 40 saves. Seahawk goalie Cayden Bailey made 23 stops.
  • This is the fourth consecutive overtime game for the Seahawks. On Friday, January 17, and Saturday, January 18, men's ice hockey lost 3-2 in overtime to the University of Southern Maine. Maine's Matt Sullivan scored the game-winning overtime goal on both occurrences. The prior overtime game was a 5-4 victory over the University of New England on Saturday, January 11. Walter Baumann scored the game-winner against the Pilgrims.
