SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Salve Regina University secured a spot in the NEWMAC postseason with a 3-1 triumph over hosting Mount Holyoke College on Saturday.
Salve Regina finished in fifth place in the NEWMAC conference standings with today's win. Salve Regina will play at No. 4 seed Springfield in the first round of the NEWMAC playoffs on Tuesday, November 4, on the road.

History: The Seahawks are 3-1 all time against Mount Holyoke. Since joining the NEWMAC in 2023 Salve Regina has bested Mount Holyoke across all three meetings. Salve Regina's only loss to the Lyons was a 3-0 results on October 16, 2000.
