Seahawks honor seniors, go 1-1 at home tri-match

NEWPORT, R.I. -- Salve Regina University split their last tri-match of the 2025 season with a 3-2 win over Johnson & Wales University and a 3-1 loss to Brandeis University. 

Before the Brandeis match the Seahawks celebrated the class of 2025 with a senior ceremony. Erin Coates is a nursing major and after graduation, plans to become a registered nurse and pursue a job in maternity nursing. Lydia Daskalos is a global business and economics major. Her favorite Salve volleyball memory is the team's trip to Seattle, Wash. her freshman year. Lauren Hoyle is a nursing major and after graduation, plans to work and live near the ocean. Lucy Swanson is a Business Administration major with a minor in marketing and plans to obtain her MBA through Salve's accelerated program and pursue a career in marketing after graduation.

History: Salve Regina is now 8-12 all-time against Johnson & Wales. The Seahawks have won the last three meetings against the Wildcats.
