MIDDLETOWN, R.I.-- Salve Regina University men's ice hockey fell 4-2 with a late push from the visiting Connecticut College Camels at Howard Rink on Sunday afternoon.
The Camels were the first to get on the board but
Walter Baumann and
Jack Arizo established a 2-1 lead for the home team by the middle of the second period. Connecticut College tied it up before the clock expired on the second period. The Camels took control of the third period and scored twice to take a 4-2 advantage.
The Seahawks hosted youth hockey night and partnered with Newport Whalers Youth Hockey to get the local hockey community involved.Â

History: This Seahawks are 0-6-1 all-time against the Camels in men's ice hockey. The last meeting on December 1, 2024 was a 3-3 tie where the Seahawks won the resulting shootout.Â

On Wednesday, December 3, men's ice hockey hosts Wesleyan University at 8 p.m. The Seahawks will hold Mental Health Awareness Night in partnership with NOSOLO and Newport Mental Health. S.A.A.C. will hold a donut eating contest at the game.
