Caroline Batchelder and
Paige Nottingham picked up their first NCAA goals in the Salve Regina University women's ice hockey team's 6-4 success over Salem State University at Howard Rink Saturday evening.
Although the Vikings got on the board early in the game
Morgan Peritz tied it up at 1-1 when she scored with two minutes remaining in the first period. The score moved to 2-2 before Nottingham and Batchelder put the Seahawks in the lead for good in the second period.
Arielle Sushinski secured her second collegiate goal after adding to the tally in yesterday's win over Salem State.

History: Salve Regina and Salem state both competed in the New England Hockey Conference in the 2024-25 season. The Seahawks are 5-1-1 all-time against the Vikings. The Seahawks swept the series against Salem State with a 3-1 win on the road against the Vikings on Friday, November 7.

The Seahawks will honor Veterans Day as the second game of an ice hockey double header on Tuesday, November 11. The men's team plays Rivier University at 5 p.m. at Howard Rink and the women's team hosts Worcester State University at 8 p.m. that same day.
