Jonathan Hammel all contributed to a tied 4-4 game against Norwich University but with a home crowd cheering them on the Cadets pulled ahead 5-4 in overtime.

History: The Cadets took home a 3-2 victory at the last men's ice hockey meeting on October 30, 2021. John McLean '22 netted Salve Regina's two goals. McLean tied the game at two with 15 seconds on the clock and sent the teams to overtime.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Going into the contest each team had eight conference wins.
- After 20 scoreless minutes the Seahawks and Cadets were tied at eight shots on net each. Both teams went 0-1 on the power play. Salve Regina topped Norwich going 9-5 in the circle.
- Parker Mabbet scored his first goal of the year short handed with a back handed shot after Matthew Brunton fed him the puck from behind the net early in the second period. This was the Seahawks fourth shorthanded goal and the first shorthanded goal the Cadets allowed this season.
- The Cadets tied it at 1-1 when Bryan O'Mara netted his fourth success of the year adjacent to the goal midway through the second period.
- With an impressive spin move right in front of the net at the 13:38 mark in period two Logan Calder got the Seahawks ahead once again on the power play.
- With a one-timer from the blue line Cooper Bertrand and the Cadets pulled even at 2-2.
- For the first time in the evening 1:05 into the third period Norwich got a 3-2 lead when Johnny Johnson struck with his first goal of the game.
- Off a Norwich stick, Damon Zimmer tipped the puck in the net to tie it again 3-3 just a minute later.
- The Cadets got back in front 4-3 when Nick Cordeiro's wrist shot out of the right circle made to the net 7:47 into the final period.
- Jonathan Hammel secured his tenth goal of the season off the face off with a back handed shot with five minutes to go in regulation. This tied the game 4-4.
- The tied 4-4 regulation score sent the teams to overtime. Clark Kerner snuck the puck into the net right next to the pipe to give Norwich a 5-4 overtime victory.
- Including tonight the last nine Seahawk games have been one-goal decisions.
- With this win the Cadets remain undefeated in NEHC action on their home ice.
- Goalie Cayden Bailey made 29 saves across 62:07.
