MIDDLETOWN, R.I. (Saturday, March 1, 2025)-- The Salve Regina University men's lacrosse team opened with a six goal run in their 14-4 non conference victory over Nichols College at Gaudet Field .
Junior midfielder Chris Koltzan was the Seahawks leading scorer with five goals, followed by freshman Heath Sumwalt who secured a hat trick.

History: Salve Regina is 15-4 all-time against Nichols in men's lacrosse. In 2023, when the Seahawks and Bison met, Salve Regina won 9-8. The first meeting occurred on April 12, 2006, and Salve Regina defied Nichols 12-6.

- Heath Sumwalt started the day off for Salve Regina less than one minute in to the game.Â
