MIDDLETOWN, R.I. (Saturday, March 1, 2025)-- Holly Sullivan and Samantha Moleti gave Salve Regina University women's lacrosse an early 2-0 lead but it wasn't enough to stop a seven-goal run by the visiting Eastern Connecticut State Warriors in a 13-10, non conference matchup.
By the end of the first half, the Warriors led 11-3. The Seahawks staged a comeback to start quarter three with two consecutive successes from Edie Threshie.Threshie launched the host into a five-goal run with Holly Sullivan contributing three goals, giving her a hat trick.
Daniella Bruno and Alix Madden scored the final goals of the day but the Warriors clung onto their early lead, finishing three goals ahead of the Seahawks.

History: Last year when Salve Regina met with Eastern Connecticut the Warriors beat the Seahawks 8-7. On February 25, 2020, Salve Regina's most recent win against East Conn, the Seahawks won 14-11.
