NASHUA, N.H. (Wednesday, March 19, 2025)-- Salve Regina University women's lacrosse secured their second win of the season in a decisive 17-7 achievement over the hosting Rivier University Raiders in non conference play on the road.
Cameron Baston started the game off with an unassisted goal just 45 seconds into the evening following a draw control in favor of the Seahawks. Rivier's Sarah Lachance matched it and the game was tied at 1-1 for a few short minutes before Holly Sullivan initiated a six-goal run for the visitor. Edie Threshie secured her first goal of the game five minutes in to the first quarter and she found seven more in the remainder of the game. By the start of the second quarter Salve Regina was up 7-1.
Threshie scored the game winning goal with six minutes to go in the first half but Salve Regina did not stop there.Â

History: This is the first meeting between the Seahawks and the Raiders in women's lacrosse in recent history. The Raiders come off an 8-7 overall season in 2024 and a 5-6 record in the GNAC.

- Five Seahawks accounted for the 17 Seahawk goals scored: Edie Threshie (8), Holly Sullivan (4), Kayli Garcia (3) Francesca Perry (1) and Cameron Baston (1).
- The Seahawks outshot the Raiders 27-13.
- Flynn Kayajan stood in net the entire game for the Seahawks and made six saves.
- Salve Regina picked up 15 ground balls led by Adelaide Baird, the NEWMAC Defensive Athlete of the Week last week, who grabbed five against Rivier.
- Baston was a force defensively with three caused turnovers.
