NEWPORT, R.I. (Thursday, April 10, 2025) -- Salve Regina University women's tennis bested Post University, 4-3, in a non-league, cross division match at the Seahawks' campus courts in Newport, Rhode Island.
The Seahawks (4-8) earned the critical doubles point with triumphs at No. 3 and No. 1, both by 6-4 scores. Seniors
Natalie Barros and
Elena Murdock won their match at the third spot before the Eagles (3-14) won 6-3 at the second spot. Sophomores
Stephanie Davis and
Kaydin Pinto trailed 4-3 at the first doubles spot before winning their final three games.
Murdock then won her singles match at the fifth spot and was followed by victories from Barros and
Natalia Vega, at sixth and fourth, respectively, to clinch the team result for Salve Regina.
