DUDLEY, Mass. -- (Wednesday, September 24, 2025)-- To pick up their third shutout of the season Salve Regina University field hockey outdid the hosting Nichols College Bison 5-0 on the road at Vendetti Field in non-conference action on a foggy evening.
Senior
Georgia Costello achieved 100 career points by scoring two goals and one assist to advance her from 96 points to 101.
It remained a 0-0 game throughout the entirety of the first quarter but the Seahawks scored four out of their five goals during the second quarter.
Bella Gannon was the first to strike at the 30 minute mark when she scored following a penalty corner. Costello bookended
Elliot Lund's goals before the first half ended.
Lund continued the scoring to stretch Slave Regina's lead to 5-0 in the third period with her second goal of the day and fifth career goal.

History: Going into the game the Seahawks had a 27-11 all-time advantage over the Bison. In 2023 and 2024 Salve Regina shutout Nichols 7-0 and 8-0 respectively.
