Game Recap: Men's Ice Hockey |

Seahawks drop to Amcats, 1-0

PAXTON, Mass. -- In a defensive battle at Horgan Arena, No. 15 Salve Regina University's men's ice hockey team battled hard but came up just short in a closely fought 1–0 loss to Anna Maria College on Saturday night.

The lone goal of the game came midway through the second period, when Anna Maria's Brandon Della Paolera connected on the power play at 15:22 to break the scoreless deadlock. Despite sustained pressure and multiple power-play opportunities, the Seahawks couldn't find the back of the net the rest of the way.

Salve Regina outshot the Amcats and generated several quality chances, with forwards like Cade DeStefani, Logan Calder, and Jonathan Hammel pressuring Anna Maria's netminder throughout the evening. Goalie Selby Warren stood tall for much of the night, finishing with 28 saves in a commendable performance between the pipes.
