MILTON, Mass-- Salve Regina University men's lacrosse senior Daniel Naglieri scored a hat trick and change when the Seahawks beat the Curry College Colonels 8-4 on the road Tuesday evening.
Naglieri scored his 200th career point. He now sits at 202 overall. Nate Strassberger picked up 100 career FO wins and is now at 103.
It was a low-scoring first quarter for both teams. Carson Van winkle got Salve Regina on the board at the 12:23 mark, but there were no other scoring actions until Aidan McIntyre found the back of the net in the second frame. Curry knotted it 2-2 shortly after but McIntyre scored again and Naglieri added in to make it 5-2 early in the third quarter.
Curry battled back to close the gap 6-4 after three stanzas, however Salve Regina sank the only two goals in the final 15 minutes of action to secure an 8-4 victory.
