MIDDLETOWN, R.I.-- Salve Regina University men's lacrosse beat non conference foe United States Merchant Marine Academy 13-11 in a back-and-forth contest featuring several lead changes on Saturday at Gaudet Field.
Nicholas Bailey got the scoring started for Salve Regina just over two minutes into the action.Â
Other key contributors included Casey Johnson, who scored a hat trick and provided an assist, as well as Chris Koltzan (two goals), Christopher Bethoney (two points) and Aidan McIntyre (two points). Salve Regina was led by senior captain Daniel Naglieri, who scored five goals and one assist for six points.
