INDIANAPOLIS (June 17, 2026) - The Salve Regina University baseball pitching staff has been crowned an NCAA Division III Statistical Champion following the conclusion of the 2026 season. The Seahawks posted the nation's best Strikeout-to-Walk Ratio (3.21) among all Division III schools and were significantly ahead of Wisconsin - La Crosse (3.03) and national champion Denison University (3.02) who were the only other pitching staffs above 3.00 on the year.

Salve Regina (40-8) recorded its all-time best winning percentage in 2026 (.833) while featuring 21 different players who took the mound:

Individually, All-American (ABCA) pitcher Nolan Romanowski (Wynantskill, N.Y.) also led the nation in innings pitched (96.2).
