NEWPORT, R.I.-- Captains
Allie Gallagher '27 and
Carah Leclair '27 and head coach
Tanya Roberts will open the 2026 season with a series of away contests starting on Tuesday, September 1, at Mitchell College.
"This season will bring a veteran squad that has competed in the NEWMAC now for four years," commented Coach Roberts. "Last season we competed and came close to some big results and with that experience has brought a new type of edge to team 44.
The first four games for Seahawk women's soccer will take place on the road before the home opener on Wednesday, September 16, against Roger Williams University at 4 p.m.
"Coming off a great spring season creating our purpose for 2026 we aim high to staying locked in competing for each other and making playoffs," said Roberts. "The non-conference schedule is strong with Western Connecticut State University, Connecticut College, Gordon College and Roger Williams prepping us for the first weekend of conference action."
Salve hosts Mount Holyoke College in the first conference game of the season on Saturday, September 19, at 12 p.m.
The Seahawks will look to advance to the NEWMAC tournament which begins on Tuesday, November 3.
