SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (Saturday, September 12, 2026) -- Salve Regina University women's tennis, with seniors at their top four singles spots, swept all nine matches against Western New England University in non-league action at the Forest Park Tennis Courts just off the Golden Bears' campus on Saturday afternoon.
Senior tri-captain
Stephanie Davis (Kinnelon, N.J.) rallied for a three-set triumph at first singles after dropping the opening set (7-5) and then storming back with a 6-0 score in Set 2 before a 10-3 decision in the super tiebreak for Set 3. Earlier, she paired with fellow classmate and tri-captain
Kaydin Pinto (Fairhaven, Mass.) for a 6-1 final at first doubles.
