(September 15, 2026) -- Salve Regina University women's tennis captured a 5-2 victory over in-state foe Rhode Island College on a sunny Tuesday afternoon at the Salve Regina Tennis Courts. The Seahawks took the doubles point with the No.1 singles paring of Stephanie Davis (Kinnelon, N.J.) and Kaydin Pinto (Acushnet, Mass.) picking up a sizable 6-2 win and No.3 singles duo of Anna Grace Hjerpe (Northborough, Mass.) and Sophia Padro (North Haven, Conn.) adding in with a 6-1 win. At singles, No.1 Davis and No.2 Pinto battled through two competitive matches, Pinto forcing a tiebreak.
