NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass..-- Salve Regina University women's cross country and men's cross country competed against DIII, DII and DIII teams in New England with Isabella Hastings (Grantham, N.H.) and Anna Weygang (Farmington, Conn.) leading the way on the women's side and Justin Ruffler (Sherman, Conn.) as the top Seahawk finisher on the men's side a the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday.

Hastings finished in 80th place out of 241 athletes in the women's gold 6k with a time of 23:35.15. Weygang was the next Seahawk to cross the line in 98th with a time of 24:11.12.

Ruffler completed the men's navy 8k in 84th with a time of 28:55.02.

The Seahawks will next race at the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University at the Goodman Campus Cross Country Course on October 2.
