NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina, Rhode Island Col. finish tied, 7-7, after 11 innings. Anchorman reliever Kory Lawrence (Woonsocket, R.I.) strands the winning run at third base by striking out Seahawk All-American Alex Perry (No. Attleboro, Mass.). Perry had hit his first home run of the season in the 3rd inning.

Series and Streaks
Seahawks are undefeated in the last three meetings with the Anchormen, but Rhode Island College has the edge in the all-time series (17-9-1). Salve Regina baseball has now finished with a tie for the seventh time, and second time ever on April 8 - back in 1992 in Bristol, R.I., the Newporters and Hawks tied, 6-6. This is the second tie of the season for Rhode Island College which also ended in a 10-10 deadlock after 10 innings against Roger Williams (March 17).
