BOSTON (March 26, 2022) - Freshman Alex Kelly (East Meadow, N.Y.) earned her fifth pitching victory in six decisions and four Seahawks - Nikki Vanelli (Quakertown, Pa.), Lauren Packer (Manchester, Conn.), Christina Braid (Franklin Lakes, N.J.), and Kendall Duprey (Cranston, R.I.) - banged out doubles in the first game of a doubleheader as Salve Regina University softball split with University of Massachusetts-Boston on Saturday afternoon, winning 5-4 before falling 3-1 to the Beacons.

Brianna Melchionda set the single-game Beacon record for strikeouts in seven innings with 14.
