Box Score 2 BABSON PARK, Mass.—Babson College got a shutout from Logan MacDonald (Wilmington, Mass.) in the opener and scored 12 unanswered runs in game two on the way to sweeping a non-conference softball doubleheader against visiting Salve Regina University on Wednesday afternoon at Alumni Field.
The Beavers won game one 3-0 and rallied for a 13-5 victory in six innings in the nightcap. Babson, which has won its last four games, improves to 20-6 overall, while Salve Regina slips to 11-14 on the year.

Senior Audrey Labouliere (Pipersville, Pa.) went 2-for-3 with a home run and junior Kate Karamouzis (Rockville Centre, N.Y.) and first-year Sara Moore (Kennett Square, Pa.) both doubled and finished with two hits apiece for the Beavers. MacDonald was superb in the circle striking out five and allowing just two hits to record her fourth shutout of the year while improving to 6-2 with the win.

The Green and White tacked on another insurance run in the fourth as Karamouzis led off with a single to right and moved to second on a base hit by sophomore Caroline Taylor (Biddeford, Maine) before coming home to score on Moore's RBI single. The lead was more than enough for MacDonald, who gave up just a leadoff single to sophomore Francesca Rubino (Burlington, Mass.) in the third and a double to senior Nikki Vanelli (Quakertown, Pa.) to start the seventh. She retired six straight hitters to start the game and seven in a row through the middle innings.

Labouliere, senior Isabel Aguilar (Avon, Conn.), junior Lexi Morris (Lexington, Mass.) and first-year Athena Hadjipanayis (Rye, N.Y.) recorded three hits apiece and combined to drive in seven runs to pace Babson's 14-hit attack. Sophomore Molly Hennessy (Tallahassee, Fla.) also singled, scored twice and contributed two RBI, while MacDonald tossed three innings of scoreless relief to earn her first save of the year. First-year Alyssa DeStefano (Ridgefield, Conn.) picked up her first career win for the Beavers.
First-year Emily Lane (Tinton Falls, N.J.) hit a three-run homer and scored twice, classmate Chloe Bean (Clinton, N.J.) was 2-for-3 with an RBI and Rubino added an RBI single for the Seahawks.
Down 5-1 going to the bottom of the third after Lane's three-run blast in the top half of the frame, the Green and White batted around and plated five runs to jump in front for good. Moore started the inning by reaching on an error, Labouliere smacked a double to right center and Aguilar followed with an RBI single to cut the margin to 5-3. Hennessy plated Joslin and Morris with a two-out single up the middle and Hadjipanayis capped the rally with a base hit through the right side to give the hosts a 6-5 advantage.
Aguilar hammered a one-out home run to center as part of a two-run fourth inning to extend the lead to 8-5 and the Beavers finished of the sweep with a five-running sixth-inning uprising.
