Liam Cooney got the second half going, but Wheaton found a new gear, netting three consecutive goals to end the third period and two in the beginning of the fourth period. Chris Koltzan put a stop to Wheaton's five-goal run when he snuck a goal in from beside the net, sending the ball over the shoulder of the Lyons' goalie. Christopher Bethoney got in the last Seahawk goal of the day. With 24 second to go Max Beauchamp grabbed a ground ball, the Seahawks briefly turned the ball over but regained control, racing down to Wheaton's defensive end.
