COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) has announce the 2025 NFHCA Division III All-Region teams and Salve Regina University field hockey seniors
Julia Decker (Newton, N.J.) and
Georgia Costello (North Easton, Mass.) were named to the Region I First Team and Region I Second Team respectively.
Division III teams are separated into six regions and each of these regions recognizes up to 16 student-athletes on both the first team and second teams.
"We are proud of Julia and Georgia for earning All-Region recognition, said head field hockey coach
Jennifer Foster. "They competed, led and elevated everyone around them this past season. Their impact on our program goes far beyond the stat sheet. To see both of them earn All-Region honors in their final season is incredibly special."
Decker was named to the NEWMAC First Team All-Conference in 2024 and the Second Team All-Conference in 2023. She was the Seahawks' leading scorer this season with 19 goals and six assists for 44 total points. Costello was the team's second highest scorer with 15 goals and nine assists for 39 points. She was also named to the 2024 NEWMAC Second Team All-Conference.
