NEW LONDON, Conn. (Friday, April 11,2025)-- Salve Regina University women's track and field sophomores Anna Weygang and Isabella Hastings both set personal bests in the women's elite 5,000 meters on day one of the Silfen Invitational hosted by Connecticut College.

With this time both Weygang and Hastings broke the school record of 18:15.39 which Weygang set on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the Corsair Classic. This time qualified her for the New England Division III Championship.

Weygang placed 17th with a time of 18:07.65 and Hastings crossed the line in 18:14.33 with a 24th place finish.

Salve Regina also had competitors in the discus throw, hammer throw and pole vault.
