NEW LONDON, C.T. (Saturday, May 3,2025)—To close out a season with numerous record-breaking performances the Salve Regina University women's track and field team competed at the New England DIII Championships hosted by the United States Coast Guard Academy.
To start off the meet on Friday, May 2,
Olivia Tacconi '27 raced the women's 100m time trials and placed 20th with a time of 12.62 which was just short of the school record she set on the first day of the 2025 NEWMAC Championships.
Sophomore
Isabella Hastings '27 crossed the women's 5000m line in 17th place with a time of 18:48.77 on Friday evening.
On Saturday, May 3, the women's 4x100m relay team of
Angelina Regels '26,
Sophia Molfetto '28,
Maya Korczak '28 and
Olivia Tacconi ran a season best time of 51.03 for a 16th place finish.
