NEWPORT, R.I.-- Salve Regina University men's lacrosse defensemen
Gavin Johnson '25 was name a 2025 Scholar All-American by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA).
In 2025 Johnson earned a spot on the NEWMAC Second Team All-Conference. He was fifth in the NEWMAC in caused turnovers per game with a 1.59 average. He had the Seahawks' second most caused turnovers during the season with 27. Johnson also landed in third on the Salve Regina 2025 leader board in ground balls after he picked up 47 this year.Â

Johnson was also named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Men's At-Large Team and the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) All-Academic Team.
