NEWPORT, R.I. (Saturday, August 23, 2025) -- Salve Regina University men's soccer has released the
2025 schedule beginning with the season opener on Friday, August 29, at UMass Boston (11 a.m.).
The 16-game slate features eigh home games on the synthetic turf of Toppa Field, including four against a NEWMAC foe. The Seahawks finished 2024, the team's second NEWMAC season, 10-8-3 overall and 4-1-3 in conference, good for securing the No. 2 Seed in the postseason before defeating Coast Guard (2-1) in the semifinals and falling to Babson (2-0) in the championship. The Seahawks went 6-2-2 last season on their home site.
The Seahawks will follow up the Beacon match up with another Little East Conference rival on the road (UMass Dartmouth on Wednesday, September 3, in North Dartmouth, Mass.) before hosting Johnson & Wales University in their home opener on Tuesday, September 9 (6 p.m.) at Toppa Field. Salve Regina welcomes Wheaton College to Toppa Field on Saturday, September 20 (2 p.m.) to start a three-game home stand.
