NEWPORT, R.I. (May 26, 2026) -- The 2026 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-Region teams and Regional Players of the Year have been announced across all 10 regions. Selections were voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association and coordinated by the
ABCA NCAA Div. III All-America & Coach of the Year Committee. Similarly, Seahawks were recognized on the D3baseball.com All-Region lists for the 14th season, with more than 1,000 players nominated. The ballot was then made available to D3baseball.com staff and contributors from which three teams in each region were determined. Eight Seahawks were recognized across both lists.

Shane Williams (Georgetown, Mass.) earned Player of the Year honors in both announcements. Sophomore pitcher
Nolan Romanowski (Wynantskill, N.Y.) grabbed top mound accolades for Region 1 in D3baseball.com while Seahawk head coach
Eric Cirella '05 took home Coach of the Year recognition for the second consecutive season. A Salve Regina pitcher has been the Region 1 or 2 top hurler in four of the last five seasons -- 2022

Elliot Hamilton (Glastonbury, Conn.) joined them on the D3baseball.com recognition.
Salve Regina had four first teamers on the ABCA/Rawlings All-Region 1 list. In addition to Williams and Romanowski, second baseman
Jake Harring (Portsmouth, R.I.) and pitcher
Luis Ortiz Ramirez (Boston, Mass.) duplicated their NEWMAC recognition.
The ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-America teams will be announced on the evening of Thursday, May 28, following the Opening Ceremony at the 2026 NCAA Division III World Series in Eastlake, Ohio. Only First Team All-Region selections are eligible for All-America honors.
Seahawk sophomore outfielder Danny Rogers (New Canaan, Conn.) was selected to the Second Team on both honors lists. D3baseball.com also recognized Harring and Ortiz Ramirez on its Second Team. Filling out the Third Team on the ABCA/Rawlings All-Region 1 were Hamilton and Salve Regina sophomore designated hitter Dylan Cimini (Stonington, Conn.).
ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove teams for all divisions will be announced on Wednesday, June 17, while the 2026 ABCA NCAA Division III Region All-Defensive teams will be released on Thursday, June 18.
The ABCA All-America team was first recognized in 1949 and now spans nine divisions: NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA, NJCAA Divisions I, II and III, Pacific Association Division, and high school. ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove teams were first introduced in 2007.
