NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University football freshman Chris Rosati (Shoreham, N.Y.) has won the Offensive Rookie of the Week for the New England Football Conference (NEFC).

Rosati rushed for 51 yards on 10 carries for a 5.1 average and scored a 15-yard second quarter touchdown in the Seahawks' win over Coast Guard. The touchdown was the first of his collegiate career.

Salve Regina (3-0, 1-0 NEFC) will travel to Milton, Mass. to face Curry College this Saturday October 1, 2016.
