Quoteables
"It's a good result for us, clearly, but even more important for us at this stage of the season, or post-season as the case may be, is the quality of the performance that we put in and showed tonight. I thought we came out well and were on the front foot right from the opening whistle. Guerra is now returning to his true form after missing those 6-games and he showed it tonight with the two goals that he scored. The first one, in particular, in the opening 5-minutes of the match really set the tone and pace for us and from that point on, we were able to build on the momentum and create the chances that we wanted. I thought several guys elevated their game and really did quite well for us…. Danny Bond and Nolun Pina, as true freshmen, got the starts tonight and Bond really showed his quality with the strike that he scored in the second half. At the other end, Casey Kelly, James Davies, and Evan Arpin continue to be the foundation that we build all of our possession upon and to be fair, Reid really came through for us on the night as well. He had two critical and albeit, game-changing saves for us in the first half while the score was still just 1-0 and those allowed us to remain in the proverbial driver's seat and control the tempo and direction of the match. Second half, we turned to the bench and brought in the fresh legs to close it out and honestly, they came in and extended the lead for us. Now it's onto the semifinals and the showdown in Bristol with the arch rival." -head coach Craig O'Rourke II
