WESTWOOD, Mass. -- The NEWMAC has announced its athletes of the week for September 30 - October 6 and Salve Regina University freshman
Nathan DiRado has claimed football Special Teams Athlete of the Week.
The first-year kicker made good on all four PAT attempts and connected on a game-winning 25-yard field goal with 6:50 remaining in the fourth quarter to defeat Merchant Marine, 31-28.

Salve Regina (3-2, 2-0 NEWMAC) enters a "bye" week followed by a road game against United States Coast Guard Academy in NEWMAC action on Saturday, October 19 with kickoff set for 1 p.m.
