NORTHAMPTON, Mass (Saturday, September 28, 2024)-- In an exciting showdown today, the No. 13 ranked Salve Regina Seahawks faced off against the Smith College Pioneers, delivering an impressive performance that culminated in a 45-19 victory.

The match kicked off with palpable energy as the Seahawks quickly established dominance. Senior Maddie Walent scored the first try of the day, setting the tone for what would be a remarkable team effort. Following Walent's lead, sophomore Lexie Antonelli and freshman Isa Cooper—who dotted down her first try of her Salve career—added to the score. Sophomore Laura Lozano also contributed with a try, and senior captain Emily Turcotte completed a hat-trick with three tries.

Senior Haylee Morrison contributed significantly, successfully slotting three conversions, while Turcotte added two more to the tally.
