NEWPORT, R.I. (Wednesday, September 17, 2025) -- Salve Regina University men's basketball has released the 2025-26 schedule beginning with the season opener on Tuesday, November 11, at UMass Boston at 5 p.m.

The 25-game slate features a dozen home games on the hardwood of Rodgers Recreation Center, including eight against a NEWMAC foe in the home-away round robin series in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference action. Last season, the Seahawks finished 5-7 on their home court with wins over UMass Boston, Curry, MIT, Coast Guard, and Springfield.

"This schedule reflects a rigorous and competitive slate of games that will develop our group's skill, resilience, and commitment to team excellence," says head coach Sean Foster '97 entering his 24th season at the helm. "We look forward to showcasing the dedication, hard work and daily improvement of our student-athletes as they represent Salve Regina University with pride both on and off the court."

The Seahawks will follow up the Beacon match up with play in the Autism Acceptance Classic with games against Regis College (Fri., Nov. 14) and host Curry College (Sat., Nov. 15) before entertaining the Rivier University Raiders in the first home game of the season on Thursday, November 20.
