MARLBOROUGH, Mass.-- Salve Regina university men's lacrosse student-athletes Daniel Naglieri (Westhampton Beach, N.Y.), Chris Koltzan (East Quogue, N.Y.), Gavin Johnson (Moorestown, N.J.), Jack Naglieri (Westhampton Beach, N.Y) and Justin Haverly (Clifton Park, N.Y.) have been added to NEWMAC All-Conference teams following the 2025 season.
Daniel Naglieri and Chris Koltzan join a group of 14 athletes on the First Team All-Conference. Gavin Johnson, Jack Naglieri and Justin Haverly earned spots on the Second Team All-Conference.
Naglieri, a junior attackman, picked up Offensive Athlete of the Week for March 10-16 this season. In 2025 for the Seahawks he's second in goals scored (31), first in assists (41), first in total points (72) and tied for first in game winning goals (3). Naglieri is also second in the conference in assists per game (2.41 average) and points per game (4.24 average). Against Emerson on March 29, Heath Sumwalt caused a turnover with 2:37 remaining in OT which gave the Seahawks an opportunity to score. Nagleiri sank the game winning goal after snaking to the right side of the net and launching a shot above the head of Emerson's goalie.
Junior midfielder Chris Koltzan was the Seahawks leading goal scorer this season with 46. He's second in the conference in goals per game with a 2.88 average. Koltzan also sits in third in the Seahawks' assist category with 18 for 64 total points in 2025. In Salve Regina's 24-10 victory against the United States Merchant Marine Academy he scored his season game-high six goals, which he matched two weeks later in an 18-11 win over Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
On the Second Team All-Conference Gavin Johnson, a senior defensemen, is fifth in the NEWMAC in caused turnovers per game with a 1.59 average. He is second in the Seahawk uniform with 27 caused turnovers in 2025. Johnson has found himself in third on the Salve Regina 2025 leader board in ground balls after he picked up 47 this year. His game-high of five ground balls Johnson grabbed first in the Seahawks 12-7 win over SUNY Maritime on February 22, and against Coast Guard and Babson later in the season.
Team captain Jack Naglieri, fifth-year senior defensemen, was named Salve Regina Athletics Athlete of the Year for 2024-25. He picked up NEWMAC Defensive Athlete of the Week for March 17-23, after he picked up 14 ground balls and caused eight turnovers over the course of two wins that week. He's the Seahawks' season leader with 80 ground balls and 33 caused turnovers. He is also fifth in the conference in ground balls per game (4.44 average) and third in caused turnovers per game (1.83 average).
Senior captain and faceoff specialist Justin Haverly won the Brother Michael Reynolds senior athlete award at the Seahawks Athletics end of year banquet. He is a three-time NEWMAC Faceoff Specialist of the Week in 2025. Haverly is the top FOGO in the NEWMAC with a FO% of .676 going 142-210. He holds a second place conference rank in ground balls per game (7.09 average).
