Bernard Redfield holds the school-record for highest scoring average in a single season (34.0 points per game in 1976-1977). He was considered the most outstanding basketball player during the 1970s. A Division 1 level, pro-size guard, Bernard was a pioneer among male athletes at Salve Regina.
