Michelle Fobert Sarney reached All-American status while leading the cross country team over a four-year period. Twice she advanced to the NCAA Division III championships to compete against the nation's best runners. In 1994, she became the second runner in school history to finish in the top 35 nationally and thus earn All-American recognition.
