Gulls top Seahawks in opener

BEVERLY, Mass. - Maya Feigenbaum led all scorers with four goals for the Endicott College women's lacrosse team in a 24-6 victory over Salve Regina University in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action.

14 different players scored for the Gulls who raced out to an early lead and never looked back.

Salve Regina got two goals each from senior Kaity Doherty (Portsmouth, R.I.) and sophomore Kathryn Mullin (Bethpage, N.Y.).

Three goalies saw action for the Seahawks; Caroline Watson (Wrentham, Mass.), Kiely Callahan (Glastonbury, Conn.) and Christina Myers (River Edge, N.J.). Watson got the start and was charged with the loss.

Two netminders saw time for Endicott; Lydia Atkins and alexandra Rose who got the start and the win.

Next up Salve Regina (0-1) will return home to face Wentworth on Wednesday, March 31. Endicott (1-1) hits the road to face nearby Gordon College on April 1.
