Salve Regina University

Hall of Fame

Established in 1998 to celebrate the school's then-50th anniversary, the Salve Regina University Athletic Hall of Fame seeks to honor the many individuals who have contributed to the rich traditions of the athletic department.

Currently, 68 individuals have been inducted into the Hall of Fame. The most recent group to get inducted, the Class of 2024, features four former athletes and a head coach -- Matt Kestler '99 (football, baseball), Lindsay Shorey '12 (basketball), Rachel Porter '13 (ice hockey), Abby Tepper '16 (field hockey, lacrosse), and Steve Cirella (head baseball coach, 2000-2013). The ceremony was held in Ochre Court on Sunday, September 29, 2024, with a brunch preceding presentations.
